When we realized that a mic stand would be particularly useful, we didn't go out and spend the money we don't have on one of those fancy name brand stands with all the bells and whistles...no...we took a broom handle, taped and tied the cocksucker to the base of an oscillating fan and fastened the mic clip right on top of the whole works cherry-style.<br /><br />Voila! Mic stand erected.<br /><br />Where the hell is this going?<br /><br />Well, King <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Bensley</span> and I were recently recording some vocals on a new track when we were suddenly compelled to document the process. Unfortunately while we may be in <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">possession</span> of a camera, the same cannot be said about the ownership of a proper tripod to set it upon. Instead of disregarding our flash of genius in acquiescence to our real-world lack of tripod or sufficient funds to procure such a thing, we got to stacking.<br /><br />Okay...the truth is that we just popped the camera on top of a bong that happened to be on the table at the time.
